Stage Clear


Stage Clear was a video gaming podcast hosted by myself and journalist Rob Fahey. We ran for two seasons from February 2009 to June 2010 and we produced over 30 episodes.

We tried to avoid getting into the habit of just talking about what we've been playing and the general news topics and instead focused on a weekly main feature, gaming recommendations and other such gimmicks. Over the course the show we spent a lot of time lamenting over the state of games journalism and gamers tendancy to act entitled and be very whingy. So there was a lot of bitterness and swearing but in general we love games and tried to emphasise that as much as possible by always looking for good stuff people should be playing.

Right now the show is on indefinite hiatus. With Rob going to Japan this year and me focusing more on game development it seemed a good time to call it a day. The show may come back when Rob returns if we feel like it but that's a long way off right now.
